"Megan Boone"
Megan Boone (born April 29, 1983) is an American actress. She stars as FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen on the NBC television series, The Blacklist.
Boone was born in Petoskey, Michigan, but was raised in The Villages, Florida, a retirement community. Her parents relocated there when she was a child to be closer to her grandparents. Her grandfather, H. Gary Morse, is The Villages developer, and her mother, Jennifer Parr, is the director of sales. She has a sister. Boone studied acting as a student at Belleview High School, where she graduated in 2001. She then graduated from Florida State University's School of Theatre in 2005 with a BFA in acting.
Boone studied with Jane Alexander and Edwin Sherin at the Asolo Repertory Theatre, and workshopped with playwright Mark Medoff. She starred in the 2007 Los Angeles debut of the Charles L. Mee play Limonade Tous Les Jours and won two LA Weekly Theater Awards for her performance.
Boone made her feature film debut in the 2009 horror film, My Bloody Valentine 3D, playing the mistress of Sheriff Palmer (Kerr Smith). She had a role in Sex and the City 2 (sequel to the 2008 film Sex and the City) in 2010, opposite Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth and Cynthia Nixon. She then played Junior Deputy District Attorney Lauren Stanton in the NBC television series, Law & Order: Los Angeles, from 2010–2011. Boone appeared in 2012's Step Up Revolution, the fourth release in the Step Up dance film series. She also starred in the independent drama Leave Me Like You Found Me that year, which she filmed in Sequoia National Park. Boone won the Gen Art Film Festival award for Best Actress for her performance.
Boone had a recurring role on the CBS police drama, Blue Bloods, in 2013, as the temporary partner of Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg). She then joined the cast of the NBC television series The Blacklist, starring opposite James Spader as rookie FBI profiler Elizabeth Keen. Boone also appeared in the 2013 ensemble comedy Welcome to the Jungle, alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme, Kristen Schaal, Rob Huebel and Adam Brody.
