"Ji Sung"
Ji Sung (or Ji Seong; whose real name is Kwak Tae-gun) is a South Korean actor, born on 27 February 1977. He is best known for his roles in popular drama series such as Save the Last Dance for Me and New Heart.
Ji majored in film at Suwon University. He made his acting debut in 1999.
In June 2005, Ji Sung began his mandatory military service, drawing attention from the media when he chose to be a soldier rather than a public service agent.
He was designated as "public ambassador of military affairs" by the Military Manpower Administration in February, 2006. Ji was joined by co-actor Ko Soo in March of the same year. He was discharged from the army on 6 June 2007, having completed his military duty.
